Use the self-timer when you want to be in the picture too

Look into the viewfinder and cover the autofocus spot with your main subject. Press the self-timer button and confirm that the green lamp (in-focus indicator) lights up steadily. |
| As soon as you press the self-timer button, the red self-timer indicator starts to blink. The shutter will release 10 seconds after the self-timer button is pressed. Two seconds before the shutter release the lamp blinks at a faster rate. |
