Lamps on Elph Z3

Green Lamp Lit: Camera ready to shoot (subject in focus)

Green Lamp Blinking: Too-close warning: 4 times per second or 16 times per second, Focus not possible warning.

Orange Lamp Lit: Flash ready

Orange Lamp Blinking: Camera shake warning (in NO FLASH mode)

  • If a too-close warning is given, move back and press the shutter button again, then make sure the green lamp stops blinking.
  • If a focusing not possible warning is given, focus the AF frame on the area with contrast and try focusing again.
  • If a camera shake warning is given, use a tripod to keep the camera steady
