If the [Memory card error] message appears, first remove and reinstall the memory card, and then try to replace it with a supplied memory card, or a different memory card.
If the error still remains, you may be able to solve this problem by formatting the memory card.
Attention:
- Formatting (initializing) a memory card erases all data on the memory card. Copy the data from the memory card to a computer or other devices before formatting.

If the message appears even after you carried out the procedure above, the camera may be malfunctioning. In that case, please contact the service centers.
