Use the Recommended Print Area Pro9000

Solution

Use The Recommended Print Area

The printer has a recommended print area and a possible printable area, according to the paper size.

Note: When Printing on Photo Paper Pro PR-101, Glossy Photo Paper GP-401, Photo Paper Plus Glossy PP-101, Photo Paper Plus Semi-gloss SG-201 and Matte Photo Paper MP-101, selection of "Borderless Printing" enables you to make prints with no margins.

However, Borderless Printing may reduce the print quality on the top and bottom edges of the paper or cause it to become smudged.

Recommended print area: This color indicates the recommended print area.

Printable area: Although this color indicates it is possible to print in this area, degradation of print quality may occur.

  1. A3 / A3+ / A4 / A5 / B4 / B5 / 4 x 6 / 5 x 7 / 4 x 8 / 8 x 10 / 10 x 12 (See steps 3 and 4 for Fine Art Paper Premium Matte.) Memo: Specify Borderless Printing to print without margins.

  2. Letter / Legal (See steps 3 and 4 for Fine Art Paper.) Memo: Specify Borderless Printing to print without margins.

  3. Fine Art Paper (A3 / A3+ / A4)

  4. Fine Art Paper (Letter)

Note : When printing in grayscale, depending on the coloring of the original image you will print, the print quality may be degraded due to streaks or uneven printing which may appear on the leading or trailing edge of the paper. Therefore, we recommend printing with the top and bottom margins of the paper set to at least 45 mm / 1.77 inches, which must be set using image-editing software.

  5. - Monochrome printing (A3 / A3+ / A4 / A5 / B4 / B5 / 4 x 6 / 5 x 7 / 4 x 8 / 8 x 10 / 10 x 12)

  6. - Monochrome printing (Letter / Legal)
