Set Prevent Paper Abrasion (not using a computer) MP970

Description

By using the Prevent paper abrasion function, the space between the printhead and paper is increased, preventing print head contact with the paper.

Solution

Changing the Machine Settings

1. Turn on the machine.

2. Display the Device settings screen.

a) Select 'Settings' on the HOME screen.

b) Select 'Device settings', then press the <OK> button.

The Device settings screen is displayed.

3. Select Print settings from the Device Settings menu, then press the <OK> button.

4. Select Prevent Paper Abrasion from the Print Settings menu, then press <OK>.

5. Select On, the press <OK>.

Note : Be sure to set this back to OFF after printing since it may result in lower print quality.
