Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows Vista :

If your Canon inkjet printer is installed on a Windows XP system that will be upgraded to Windows Vista, first uninstall the Canon inkjet printer software ; then, upgrade the OS to Windows Vista and install the Vista software for your printer.

If you have already upgraded your computer's OS to Windows Vista :

Delete / uninstall Windows XP software before installing Windows Vista software for your printer.
