How to set and use the Wide Panel on the flash.
Solution

Pull out the wide panel and place it over the flash head as shown. The flash coverage will then be extended to 17mm.
- The
 button will not work
- Use the wide panel with the flash head at the normal or 7° downward tilt position

- If you use bounce flash with the wide panel in place, the entire display on the LCD panel will blink as a warning. Since the subject will be illuminated by the bounce flash and direct flash, it will look unnatural.
- Pull out the wide panel gently. Using excessive force may detach the wide panel.

If the wide panel comes off, the <ZOOM> button will not work. If this happens, follow the procedure below.
- Use you finger to push in the panel as shown by the arrow.
- The <ZOOM> button will work again, but the entire LCD panel display bill keep blinking. Take the Speedlite to the nearest Canon Service Center for repair.
