How to set the paper thickness lever

Adjust the paper thickness lever, depending on the paper type used. If the paper thickness lever setting is incorrect, the paper may directly contact the print head, which may result in print head damage or soiled print output.

With the power on, open the front cover. (The print head holder will move to the center.)

1. When printing on a paper type from the following list, set the paper thickness lever to the left. (The space between the paper and the print head holder is decreased.)

Plain paper, High Resolution Paper, Photo Paper Pro, Glossy Photo Paper, Photo Paper Plus Glossy, Matte Photo Paper,Transparencies

Note: If the printing side becomes dirty, set the paper thickness lever to the right.

2. Set the paper thickness lever to the right when printing on envelopes and T-Shirt Transfers. (The space between the paper and the print head holder is increased.)
