The still image resolution on a Mini DV cassette is 720 x 480 pixels. On SecureDigital Cards (SDC) or MultiMedia Cards (MMC), Optura 10 and Optura 20 images are compressed and recorded in JPEG format and have a resolution of either 1280 x 960 pixels or 640 x 480 pixels. Movie clips may also be recorded to the SDC/MMC card at a resolution of either 320 x 240 pixels or 160 x 120 pixels.
