How do I install the TWAIN Driver for Windows?

Note: Before you connect the camera to your PC, you must install the TWAIN Driver for Camera from the EOS Digital Solution Disk on your PC.

1. Connect the camera to your PC correctly.

2. Set the camera' s power switch to 'ON'. The 'Building driver information database' dialog box appears showing the progress of the installation and the IEEE 1394 Driver is automatically installed. This automatic installation is only performed the first time you connect the camera to your PC after installing the EOS Digital Solution Disk software.

For Windows Me and Windows 2000 users:

1. If the 'Digital Signature Not Found' message appears during installation, click 'Yes'

2. After you click 'Yes', installation continues and the driver is installed normally.

3. In Windows 2000, the 'Confirm File Replace' message appears. Click 'No to All'.

4. When the message appears asking whether you want to restart your computer, restart your PC as directed by the message.
