Connecting the camera to a printer wirelessly

Connect the camera to a printer wirelessly using the wireless print adapter and compact power adapter supplied with your camera.
Caution
-
To select the items in the LCD monitor, press the camera button shown below(right, left, up, and down).

The wireless network function can be operated up to approximately 30 meters away with a direct line of sight to the target device. However, the distance will depend upon the operating conditions.

1. Attach the compact power adapter to the wireless print adapter.




2. Attach the wireless print adapter to the printer's USB port.



3. Turn on the printer.

4. The wireless print adapter lamp will blink.

5. Set the camera to <Playback> mode, and turn on the camera.
(A wireless connection cannot be established in Movie mode.)



Slide the mode switch to <Playback> mode.
Turn on the camera.

6. Press the <Print/Share> button.



8. The screen below will appear in the LCD monitor.


Select [WA-1] as the [Target Device].
Select [Connect].
8. Press the <Print/Share> button or the <FUNC./SET> button.

The LCD monitor will display an indicator that shows the connection status.


9. When the wireless connection has been completed, the <Wireless Lamp> and the <Print/Share> button will light up.



The wireless print adapter lamp will light up simultaneously.


10. When a wireless connection is established, the icon will appear in the upper left corner of the LCD monitor.

Connecting to a printer easily
The camera remembers the previous target device. If you connect to the same target device, you can connect easily by pressing the <Print/Share> button for more than one second.

After going through steps 1 to 5, set the camera to Playback mode.

Press the <Print/Share> button for more than one second.
3.
When the wireless connection is established, the icon will appear on the upper left corner of the LCD monitor.
