Installation Instructions for the ZiO! CF Card Reader/Writer (S800)

Windows 98/Me/2000:

Before connecting and using the ZiO! CF Card Reader/Writer, you must first install the drivers located on the accompanying Installation Disk CD-ROM.

1. Insert the Installation Disk CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The auto-run program will begin the software setup application automatically. If setup does not start automatically, double-click the 'My computer' icon, double-click the icon for the CD-ROM drive, and double-click 'Setup.exe'.

2. When the installation menu appears, select 'Install Drivers'.

3. Click on the picture of the ZiO CompactFlash Reader.

4. Click 'Next' on the Welcome screen.

5. Click 'Yes' after reading the License Agreement.

6. Click 'Next' after verifying the Destination Location.

7. Click 'Next' on the Select Program Folder screen.

8. Click 'Next' to start copying files.

9. Once the files have copied, select 'Yes I want to restart my computer now' and click 'Finish'.

10. After the computer restarts, connect the ZiO CF Card Reader to a USB port on the computer. The New Hardware will be detected, and the driver will load automatically.

11. You can now access the ZiO CF Card Reader from the Removable Drive icon in the My Computer folder.

Mac OS 8.5 to 9.1:

Before connecting and using the ZiO! CF Card Reader/Writer, you must first install the drivers located on the accompanying Installation Disk CD-ROM.

1. Insert the Installation Disk CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

2. Double-click the 'USB ZiO Driver Installer' icon.

3. Click 'Continue'.

4. The Readme screen appears. Click 'Continue'.

5. Select the ZiO CompactFlash Reader, click 'Install'.

6. Click 'Continue' to proceed with the installation.

7. Click 'Agree' after reading the License agreement.

8. Click 'Yes' when prompted Your Macintosh may need to be restarted after installation is complete. Do you wish to continue?

9. When you see the message Installation was successful , click 'Restart'.
