To reset the VIXIA HF S10, HF S11 or HF S100 back to the factory defaults remove the battery and press the [Reset] button located on the back of the camcorder by using a small object such as a pen point.
After pressing the button reinstall the battery or connect the camcorder to AC power and turn the camcorder on. After the camcorder powers on reset the date and time and resume use.
| Note: Resetting the camcorder has no effect on recordings stored on memory card or memory (HF S10 and HF S11 only). |
