For users who wish to "drag and drop" the video files created by the camcorder the videos can be located by drilling down thru the following folders.
- Double click on the removeable disc drive icon to display the root folder of the drive.
- Double click on the [SD_VIDEO] folder.
- Double click on the [PGR001] folder.
-The folder name may have a different number but will always start with PGR.
The video files are located in this folder with a .mod file extension.
- Depending on the software you are using the file extension may need to be renamed to .mpg to be useable in your playback or editing software.
NOTE: Longer continuous recordings may be broken up into multiple files of up to 2GB each. This is normal and is necessary for compatibility with the built-in memory and/or memory card file system. Many MPEG-2 editing softwares are capable of rejoining these files into one large video file on the computer.
