Description

Reset the camcorders settings to the factory defaults (VIXIA HF20, HF21 and HF200)

Solution

To reset the VIXIA HF20, HF21 or HF200 back to the factory defaults remove the battery and press the [Reset] button located on the side of the camcorder by using a small object such as a pen point.

After pressing the button reinstall the battery or connect the camcorder to AC power and turn the camcorder on. After the camcorder powers on reset the date and time and resume use.

Note: Resetting the camcorder has no effect on recordings stored on memory card or memory (HF20 and HF21 only).
