Remote Switch and Remote Controller
You can use Remote Switch RS-60E3 or Timer Remote Controller RC-1/RC-5 ( sold separately) to the camera and shoot with it.

Connecting the Remote Switch
1. Open the terminal cover.
2. Connect the plug to the remote control terminal.

To disconnect the plug, grasp the plug's silver part and pull out.
Remote controllers to shoot wirelessly up to about 5 meters/16.4 feet from the camera. The RC-1 can trip the shutter immediately or after a 2-sec. delay, and the RC-5 trips the shutter after a 2-sec. delay.
1. Set the power switch to <ON>.
2. When the camera is ready to shoot, Press the <Drive mode selection> ( 
) button.
3. Press the <Cross Keys> to select the [Self-timer/Remote control], then press the <SET> button.
4. Point the remote controller toward the camera's remote control sensor and press the transmit button.
5. The camera will autofocus. When focus is achieved, the self-timer lamp will light and the picture will be taken.
Attention:
Camera misoperation may occur near certain types of fluorescent lights. During wireless remote control, try to keep the camera away from fluorescent light.
