Using the LCD screen dimmer setting

Solution

You can use the LCD Screen Dimmer setting when you want to shoot in environments where the LCD's illumination could be an annoyance, such as shooting indoors with dim lighting or shooting during nighttime.

If you set the LCD Screen Dimmer to ON, the LCD screen will be one step dimmer than in standard setting.

If you think the standard brightness is too bright, you can make the LCD display darker to enjoy shooting.

note:

  • Dimming the LCD screen does not affect the brightness of your recordings or that of the playback image on a TV.
