MAGNIFYING THE IMAGE ON THE SCREEN

1. Holding the lock button pressed down, set the < > switch to CAMERA.
   - Move the / switch to (tape) or (card).
   
   
   
   
2. Press the < > button.
   - The image at the center of the screen is magnified 1.8 times and "MAGN." appears in yellow.
   - This will not affect the recordings on the tape.
   
   
   
   

TO RECORD THE MAGNIFIED IMAGE

1. Holding the lock button pressed down, set the < > switch to CAMERA.
   - Move the / switch to (tape).
   
   
2. Press the < > button.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the [ MENU] icon and press < > to open the setup menus.
   
   
   
   
4. Select [ SYSTEM SETUP] and press < >.
   
   
   
   
5. Set [MAGN.REC] to [ON]
   
   
   
   
6. Press < > to close the menu.
   
   
7. Press < >.
   - The image at the center of the screen is magnified 1.8 times and "MAGN.REC" appears in red.
   
   
8. Press <START/STOP> to start recording.
   
   
   
   

attention:

If [MAGN.REC] is set to ON, you cannot capture still images simultaneously.

note:

• This function can also be activated with the CUSTOM key.
• You can also apply the peaking function (without the magnification) by setting [ASST.FUNC.] to [PEAKING].
