How to set the live view metering timer on the EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Solution

Set the shooting mode.
- Set the shooting mode to a Creative Zone mode.
- Live View shooting does not work in Basic Zone modes.

Select [Live View function settings].
- Under the [
 ] tab, select [Live View function settings], then press <SET>.

3 Select [Metering timer].
- Select the length of time you wish the metering time to be active, then press <SET>.

Exit the menu.
- Press the <MENU> button to exit.
