In order to be able to scan sides of a document (duplex), you must make sure that the "Scanning Side" is set to [Duplex].

1. Open CaptureOnTouch.
   To start CaptureOnTouch, click the icon () located in the "Finder" toolbar and click on "Launch CaptureOnTouch".
   
   
   
2. Click [Scanner setting...].
   
   
   
3. Place a checkmark in [Use advanced settings dialog box] check box.
   
   
   
4. Click [Open...].
   
   
   The scanner driver settings screen appears.
   
   
   
5. Using the drop-down arrows, change "Scanning Side" to [Duplex].
