Solution

Set a higher [Brightness] setting. If the paper is too thin, make a copy of the documents and then scan the copy.

  1. Open CapturePerfect 3.0.


  2. On the [Scan] menu, select [Scanner Setting].

    The property dialog box for the driver opens.


  3. Select the [Brightness] tab sheet.


  4. Drag the brightness slider to the right to increase the brightness setting.

Alternatively, enable the [Prevent bleed through/remove background] setting.

  1. Open CapturePerfect 3.0.
  2. On the [Scan] menu, select [Scanner Setting]. The property dialog box for the driver opens.

  3. Select the [Image Processing] tab sheet.


  4. Place a checkmark in the [Prevent Bleed Through/Remove Background] check box and click on [Settings].
    When this check box is selected, the [Setting] button is enabled to allow adjustment of the removal level in the [Prevent Bleed Through / Remove Background Setting] dialog box.

    Adjust the slider as needed.
