Using the Control Dial.

Turning the control dial counterclockwise is equivalent to pressing the button, while turning the control dial clockwise is equivalent to pressing the button. (it is equivalent to pressing the or button with some functions).

You can perform the following operations when you turn the control dial.

Shooting Functions

  • Selecting Special Scene modes
  • Selecting / / / / ISO
  • Selecting the FUNC. menu items
  • Selecting the movie mode
  • Selecting the shooting direction in Stitch Assist mode
  • Selecting a shutter speed in Tv
  • Selecting the aperture value in Av
  • Selecting the shutter speed and aperture value in the M mode.
  • Moving the AF frame in Face Detect mode.
  • Adjusting the focus in the manual focus mode.
  • Adjusting the exposure.

The Playback functions

  • Selecting an image in playback mode
  • Operating when viewing movies
  • Operating the sound memos
