Close all covers and clear any document jams.

Solution

The power indicator is blinking because it is unable to scan a document. Either the cover is open or a document is jammed.

  1. Make sure all covers are closed.
    (Maintenance Cover)

    (Imprinter cover)

    (Reading Unit)

  2. Remove any jammed documents.
