For the Windows 7 (32bit) environment

The software supporting Windows 7 for the above model and how to install it are shown below.
 
  • MP Driver
NOTE
Your computer must have an internet access.
 
The MP Driver consist of "Printer Driver," "Scanner Driver," "Fax Driver (models supporting Fax function only)." Note that how we provide the drivers, and how to install them differ depending on drivers.
 

 

- Printer Driver
To be provided via Windows Update.
Connect the machine with the computer, and power ON; the driver will be installed.
 

 

- Scanner Driver / Fax Driver
Canon provides the above software.
(1) Download them from our download page.
(2) Double-click each file, and its corresponding installation window will display.
(3) Follow the procedure to proceed with the installation.
Connect the machine with the computer, and power ON; the MP Driver will be installed.
 
  • MP Toolbox
  • Easy-PhotoPrint EX
 
Canon provides the above software.
(1) Download them from our download page.
(2) Double-click each file, and it's corresponding installation window will display.
(3) Follow the procedure to proceed with the installation.

For the Windows 7 (64bit) environment

The software supporting Windows 7 for the above models and how to install them are shown below.
 
  • Add On Module
NOTE:
  • This software is a module that expands the functionality of the printer driver for Canon Inkjet printers. Your printer must be installed via Microsoft Update before you download and use this module.
  • A scanner driver is not available on Windows 7 x64.
  • Your computer must have an internet access.
 
To be provided via Windows Update.
Connect the machine with the computer, and power ON; the driver will be installed.
With this situation, as the Effects tab is not displayed, you cannot use the functions such as "VIVID Photo," "Simulate Illustration," "Monochrome Effects," etc.
Additionally install Add-On module.
NOTE
Windows 7 (64bit) does not support the PC-FAX function.
