Using the automatic backlight correction function with the FS20, FS21, FS22, and FS200

Solution

At times backlit subjects may appear too dark (underexposed). To correct this you can use the automatic backlight correction.

When shooting subjects with a strong light source behind them, you can have the camcorder automatically correct for the backlight.

  1. Push the joystick up to display the joystick guide.
  2. Using the joystick up/down select [BLC ] and press the <SET> button.
    - appears on the screen.
    - press <SET> again to end the backlight correction mode.
