Description

The camcorder can only record in MXP/FXP mode to Class 4 or Class 6 memory cards

Solution

 

The camcorder can only record in MXP/FXP mode to memory cards which report to the camcorder a speed class of Class 4 or Class 6. Cards which do not report these card speeds to the camera will not be able to record at the higher quality settings.

NOTE: 
For VIXIA HF S10/S100 Class 10 cards may also be used if firmware version 1.0.4.0 is installed. 
For VIXIA HF10/100 Class 10 cards may also be used if firmware version 1.0.3.0 is installed.
For VIXIA HF11 Class 10 cards may also be used if firmware version 1.0.1.0 is installed.
For VIXIA HF20/200 Class 10 cards may also be used if firmware version 1.0.5.0 is installed.
For VIXIA HG20/21 Class 10 cards may also be used if firmware version 1.0.2.0 is installed.
