Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure ends to the STV-250N Stereo/Video cable are connected securely to the camcorder and television.
  2. Ensure nothing is connected to the headphone jack on the camcorder or the headphone jack on the television.
  3. Ensure the television volume is not muted.
  4. Try increasing the volume on the television.
  5. Check the camcorder's playback menu to ensure [AV/PHONES] is set to [AV].
  6. Try connecting the camcorder to another A/V port on the television and remember to change your television to the proper A/V source.
  7. Connect the camcorder to a different television.
  8. Replace the AV cable.

If you completed all the troubleshooting steps and the issue is not resolved, the camcorder may need servicing.
