Backup Utility enables you to back up all the video on your camcorder's hard disk to a computer or to transfer backed up data back to the camcorder.

 Recommended system requirements:

Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Microsoft, Intel Pentium 4, 1.6 GHz, 512 MB RAM, USB 2.0 (Hi-speed USB)

Microsoft Windows Vista (32 bit version), Intel Pentium 4, 2.4 GHZ, 1GB RAM, USB 2.0 (Hi-speed USB)

Only computers with a preinstalled version of the operating System are supported.

You must have sufficient hard disk space on the computer for the backup.

Getting started:

Insert the Backup Utility CD-ROM in the computer's CD or DVD drive .

From Computer (Windows Vista) or My Computer (Windows XP) double-click the icon of the drive in which you inserted the disk.

Copy the folder HGBACKUP to the desktop.

Insert a fully charged battery pack into the camcorder and plug the compact power adapter into a wall outlet or power strip.

 Turn on the camcorder and set it in video playback mode.

Connect the camcorder to the computer using the USB cable.

Open the HGBACKUP folder on the desktop.

Double-click the icon HGBACKUP.exe

Read the license agreement and select I agree.

Start Backup Utiltiy and click Back Up Data or Transfer Back Data.
