Setting the Image-Recording Quality

You can select the pixel count and the image quality. There are eight

JPEG image-recording quality settings: . There are three RAW image quality settings:

1 Select [Image quality].

  • Under the [] tab, select [Image quality], then press <>.

2 Select the image-recording quality.

  • To select a RAW setting, turn the <> dial. To select a JPEG setting, turn the <> dial.

  • On the upper right, the “**M (megapixels) **** x ****” number indicates the recorded pixel count, and [***] is the number of possible shots (displayed up to 9999).

  • Press <> to set it.
  • Under [: Record func+card/ folder sel.], if [Record func.] is set to [separately], turn the <> dial to select <> or <>, then press <>.

On the screen that appears, turn the <> dial to select the image recording quality, then press <>

  • If [–] is set for RAW and JPEG,  will be set.

  • The number of possible shots will be displayed up to 1999 on the LCD panel.
