Setting Copyright Information

When you set the copyright information, it will be recorded to the image as Exif information

1 Select [Copyright information].

  • Under the [] tab, select [Copyright information], then press <>.

2 Select the option to be set.

  • Turn the <> dial, select either [Enter author’s name] or [Enter copyright details], then press <>.

3 Enter text.

  • Press the <> button, and the text palette will be highlighted in a color frame. Text can be entered.

  • Operate the < > dial or <> to move the and select the desired character. Then press <> to enter it.

  • You can enter up to 63 characters.

  • To delete a character, press the <> button.

4 Exit the setting.

  • After entering the text, press the <MENU> button.

    • The information will be saved and the screen will return to step 2.

 

Checking the Copyright Information

When you select [Display copyright info.] in step 2 on the preceding page,

you can check the [Author] and [Copyright] information that you entered.

You can also set or check the copyright information with EOS Utility

 

Deleting the Copyright Information

When you select [Delete copyright information] in step 2 on the preceding page, you can delete the [Author] and [Copyright] information.
