Error on computer screen: Double feed has been detected

An error appears on your computer screen stating "Double feed has been detected" when using the P-150


"Double feed has been detected" error on  your computer screen while attempting to scan.

The driver installation may have become corrupted.

1. Unplug scanner from computer (or at the very least, close the scanner cover so that it's powered off).
2. Reboot your computer.
3. Plug the scanner back in (or open the scanner cover if you only closed it instead of unplugging it).
4. Rescan your document.

If you are still receiving the double-feed error, then follow these steps:

1. Uninstall the driver.
2. Unplug the scanner.
3. Reboot the computer (without the scanner being plugged into it).
4. Reinstall the driver.
5. Plug your scanner back into the computer and attempt to scan again.
