| Solution | You can use this camcorder overseas. Please refer to the following things when you plan to use it overseas. You can connect the dedicated compact power adapter or battery charger to a power supply of between 100 and 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. However, you need a plug adapter to use the camcorder in a country where the power plug shape is different from that of your own country. (Please note that depending on the region, the plug shape may be different even in the same country.) For information about power adapters, consult with a local travel agency or home appliance shops. For details on the electric voltages and power outlet types of major overseas countries, see the link below. CAUTION - Do not connect the compact power adapter or the battery charger to an electric transformer (for overseas use). It may cause the camera to malfunction, become hot, catch fire, or result in electrical shock or physical harm.
- Warranty coverage is subject to the country where the unit was purchased.In the event of a malfunction or problem that occurs while travelling abroad, please consult the customer support center in your home country after you return.
- Use of genuine Canon accessories is recommended. This product is designed to achieve excellent performance when used with genuine Canon accessories.
