IMPORTANT

• This camera requires a PrintBridge-compatible printer for printing over a wireless LAN.

NOTE

• Follow these instructions when using the camera as an access point. To connect using another access point, see Sending images to a computer (Wi-Fi function) (PowerShot ELPH 130 IS / IXUS 140 / Powershot A3500 IS)
• The position and shape of the operation buttons, screens displayed, and setting items may differ according to the model you use.

Connecting your camera and printer over a wireless network

1. Press the <Playback> (
) button on the camera.

2. Press the <
> button.

NOTE

When making the settings for a wireless LAN for the first time, a screen will appear for you to register a nickname for the camera.

This nickname will be displayed on the screen of target devices when connecting to other devices via wireless LAN.

• Press the <FUNC./SET> (
  ) button to access the keyboard.

• Press the <
  ><
  ><
  ><
  > buttons to choose a character, and then press the <FUNC./SET> (
  ) button to enter it.

Up to 16 characters can be used.

• Choose [
  ] or [
  ] and press the <FUNC./SET> (
  ) button to move the cursor.
• Choose [
  ] and press the <FUNC./SET> (
  ) button.

The previous character will be deleted.

• Press the <
  > button, press the <
  ><
  > buttons to choose [OK], and then press the <FUNC./SET> button (
  ).

When you are in the vicinity of an access point that you have previously connected to, the camera will automatically connect to it in step 4. To change access points, select [Switch Network]from the screen that will be displayed when the connection is being established.

> buttons to choose [
], and then press the <FUNC./SET> (
) button.

4. Press the <

> buttons to choose [Add a Device], and then press the <FUNC./SET> (
) button.

NOTE

• You can connect to printers that you have already connected to by choosing them on the [Select a Device] screen in step 4.
• After you have accessed the Wi-Fi menu once, you can access it again by pressing the <
  > button. The recent target device is listed first, so you can easily connect again by pressing the <
  ><
  > buttons to choose it. To add a new device, display the device selection screen by pressing the <
  ><
  >buttons, and then configure the setting.

If you prefer not to display recent target devices, press the <
> button, and on the [
] tab, choose [Wi-Fi Settings] > [Target History] > [Off].

6. Once the printer is ready for the connection, press the <FUNC./SET> (
) button when the printer name is displayed on the camera.

[Paper Settings].

the paper size, and press the
<FUNC./SET> (

Press the <

paper size, and press the
<FUNC./SET> (

layout, and then press the
<FUNC./SET> (
) button.

Make sure that the settings are correct, and then press the
<FUNC./SET> (
) button to begin printing.
