If you do not have Internet access, you can activate your PosterArtist license offline by following these steps.

 

Creating Request Data

1. On the [License Authentication] window, select [Offline Authentication] and [Create Request Data], and then click the [Next] button. Enter the License Access Number in the window that appears and then click the [Next] button.
 

Note:

  • [License Access Number:]: Enter 16 single-byte alphanumeric characters (4 characters x 4 input boxes).
  • If you enter an incorrect License Access Number, an error message will appear on the screen. Click the [Back] button, and then enter the correct License Access Number.

 

2. The window appears as shown below. Specify a destination to save the request data file, and then click the [Next] button.
 

Note:

  • To specify a destination to save the request data file, either enter the full path in the [Destination:] field or click the [Browse...] button and select a destination.
  • If the request data file fails to save, an error message will appear on the screen. Click the [Back] button, and then specify a destination again.

 

3. The window appears as shown below. Confirm the details, and then click the [Exit] button.
 

Note:
[Open Destination Folder after Exiting.]: Place a checkmark here to open the destination folder after the data has been saved.

 

4. Send the request data file that has been created to the following email address:

CITS_CCADMIN@cits.canon.com
