Babys first smile, first step, first word. When you use mode, you can easily capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments and keep track of babys growth day by day. With the optimized settings, babys skin will appear with vibrant clarity. In addition, you can add a stamp to the video to show how much time has passed since baby was born.

Setting Baby Mode

The setting procedure for Baby mode is explained below.
IMPORTANT
During Baby mode, [ MP4 ] recording is not available. Please set the recording mode to [ AVCHD ].

1. Turn on the camcorder and make sure it is set to a recording mode.

2. Touch [Shooting mode].

3. Drag your finger up or down to bring [ ] to the center, and then touch [OK].

NOTE
  • During Baby mode, pre-recording will be activated and cannot be turned off. That way, you will not miss memorable moments.
  • During Baby mode, recording in 60P/50P or 35 Mbps is not available.
  • During Baby mode, dual recording is not available.

Using Stamps during Baby Mode

During Baby mode, you can add stamps to the video to track babys height, weight and age.
NOTE
Confirm that mode is set.

1. Turn on the camcorder.

2. Touch [ ].

3. Drag your finger left/right to bring the [Main Functions] menu to the center, and then touch the icon to open it.

4. Drag your finger up or down, and then touch [Decoration].

5. Touch [ ].

6. To set babys date of birth, touch > [ ].

7. Touch to set.

8. To set baby's height and weight, touch [ ] again.

9. Touch to set.

10. Touch .

11. Touch the stamp, date or time and drag it to the desired location.
NOTE
For the age stamp, days will be displayed for 6 days after birth, weeks will be displayed from 1 week up to, but not including, 1 month; months will be displayed from 1 month up to, but not including, 1 year; and years will be displayed from 1 year.

Playing Back Scenes in the Baby Album

The baby album contains, in chronological order, only the movies recorded in Baby mode so you can conveniently play those movies back and enjoy watching babys growth.

The playback method for the [Baby Album] is explained below.

1. Turn on the camcorder.

2. Press <> to set the camcorder to Playback mode.

3. Touch [ ].

4. Drag your finger left/right to bring [Baby Album] to the center, and then touch the icon to open it.

5. Select the scene you want to play back.
Drag your finger left/right to bring the desired scene to the front, and then touch the scenes thumbnail to start the playback.

NOTE
  • Playback controls are the same as when playing back scenes from the [Movie Playback] index screen.
  • The camcorder will play back the scene selected and continue until the end of the last scene in the index screen.
CAUTION
  • Observe the following precautions while the ACCESS indicator is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss.
- Do not open the memory card slot cover.
- Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder.
- Do not press <>.
