Scanning error "Cannot communicate with the scanner."

Solution

The following error screen is displayed when the scanner is not connected to the computer.

 

The following screen is displayed after pressing [OK].

 

Check the USB cable at ends.

  • Flat end (A): Connect (A) to the USB port on the computer.
  • Square end (B): Connect (B) to the USB port on the machine.
