When attempting to print wirelessly, you may get a Printer Not Responding message. There are several possible causes for this message.

Refer to the following list of causes, then open the article to resolve the issue

• The computer and wireless router have lost connection.

  Restart the computer and try to print again.
   

• The wireless router and printer may not be communicating.

  Turn the router and printer off then on to restore communication.
   

• The printer driver isn't set to the correct printer port on the computer.

  Ensure the printer driver is configured to the proper port. The printer detects nearby access points. If an incorrect access point was mistakenly selected, you can select the correct one.

  Confirm that the network name matches the one selected on both the printer and the computer:

  • Confirm the network name match for the printer and a Windows computer.

  • Confirm the network name match for the printer and a Mac^® computer.
