Indicators that power is on

The light on the mode button or MENU button is blue when the machine is turned on.

Blue light

It may take a few minutes for the machine to start printing if it was turned off.
The LCD turns off after abuot five minutes. It turns back on with any button press or if the printer begins to print or fax.
