Select the correct SSID (Network name) for using the printer via wireless LAN - MX432 / MX439 Mac OS X

Solution

Verify the SSID (Network Name)

 

Check the printer Setting

 

 

 

Make sure that the machine is turned on.

 

  1.  Press the Setup button.

 

  2.  Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Device settings, then press the OK button.

 

  3.  Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select LAN settings then press the OK button.

 

  4.  Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Print LAN details then press the OK button.

 

  5.  Confirm the SSID.

 

 

Check the SSID on the computer

 

  1. Click the Airport Icon


     

  2.  
  3. Note the SSID name (the one with the check mark to the left).


     
  4. Compare this with the SSID from the the Wireless LAN setting list of the printer. If it is different , select (click) the same SSID as that of the printer.
