Description
Learn how to copy on two sides (duplex copy) with the PIXMA MX922. This includes copying from: one-sided to two-sided, two-sided to two-sided, and two-sided to one-sided.
Solution
Types of two-sided copying
By changing the settings on your printer, you can specify the exact way you want to copy documents.

Regular settings
After you press the COPY button, you can change the print settings for your copies by pressing the right Function button.
Two-sided to two-sided

Load the original: automatic feeder (ADF)

Advanced settings
1ADF duplex scan: DuplexWhen you select Duplex for ADF duplex scan, Advanced is displayed on the printer screen. Select the orientation and the stapling side of the original by pressing the right Function button.

2Load the original on the platen glass surface

Preview - rotate and / or rescan
When you select 2-sided for 2-sidedPrintSetting and the preview function is activated, the printer will run a pre-scan. When the pre-scan finishes, a preview of the scan is displays on the printer screen (see below).-
Rotate - If you press the right Function button, the original rotates by 180 degrees.

Rescan- If you press the left Function button, the original rescans.
Press the OK button to start the scan.

Placing next page of document
After each page of the original is scans, the Placing documents (platen) screen appears. Remove the original from the scanner surface and load the next sheet, then press OK.
Advanced settings
32-sidedPrintSetting: 2-sided When you select 2-sided for 2-sidedPrintSetting, Advanced displays on the screen.
You can select the orientation and the stapling side of the paper by pressing the right Function button. You can also select whether to display the preview screen when you load the original on the scanner.

Troubleshooting and notes

If you get the message Device memory is full. Cannot continue process. when you scan, set the print quality to Standard, then try again. If the problem doesn't resolve, set the print quality to Fast and try again.

Two-sided copy setting can be used in combination with 2-on-1 copy or 4-on-1 copy when you select Standard copy. In addition, two-sided copy is also available when you select ON for Collate. Refer to:

If you copy in black & white, print intensity of the Two-sided copy may differ from that of a single-sided copy.
