Description

Find out how to remove a paper jam from the paper output slot of a PIXMA MG7120 printer.

Solution

If your paper jams in the paper output slot, try the following:

  1. Press the Stop button to cancel any print jobs.

  2. Turn the machine OFF.

  3. Slowly pull out the paper. If you can't pull out the paper, turn the machine back ON and the paper may eject.

  4. Once you clear the jam, you will need to restart your print job.

If you can't reach the paper, learn how to remove a paper jam inside the printer.

Note We recommend using paper other than size A5 to print documents with photos or graphics. A5 paper may curl and cause jams.
