Description

Select whether to print the RX report automatically after receiving a fax. If you print the RX report, select Print error only or Print for each RX.

Solution

RX Report Setting

This machine can print a RX (reception) report after receiving a document, confirming whether the reception has been completed successfully. At the time of purchase, the machine is set so that RX reports are not printed at all. You can set the machine to print a report each time it receives a document, or only when an error occurs.

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.

  2. Press the FAX button.
The Fax standby screen is displayed.

  3. Press the Menu button.

  4. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Auto print settings, then press the OK button.

  5. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Print when out of ink, then press the OK button.

  6. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Do not print or Print, then press the OK button.
    • When the ink cartridge is low or it is out of ink and you don't want to automatically print received faxes, select Do not print.

       Note:
      • This is the default setting and is recommended so you don't lose incoming received faxes.
      • You can still manually print faxes that are stored in memory.
      • The TX (send) and RX (receive) reports will not print when Do not print is selected and cannot be printed manually like the Activity Report.
    • When the ink cartridge is low or it is out of ink and you want to automatically print received faxes and the TX and RX Report, select Print.

      Important:
      • When the ink cartridge runs out of ink, faxes printed while Print when out of ink is set to Print will be permanently lost. It is recommended to replace an ink cartridge that is running low of ink with a new ink cartridge before the ink runs out completely.
