TX Start Speed
33600 bps is the maximum transmission (TX) speed. When the telephone line condition or connection is poor, selecting a lower reception speed may solve the problem.
Make sure that the machine is turned on.
- Press the Menu button.
Select
Setup, then press the OK button.
- Select

button to select Fax settings, then press the OK button.

button to select Advanced FAX settings, then press the OK button.
Use the ![UP](/library/attachments/ServiceWareImages/LDImages/SolutionAnswer/MX420/t_mark_s.gif)
button to select Adv. communication settings, then press the OK button.

button to select TX start speed, then press the OK button.

button to select from the following speeds, then press the OK button
33600 bps / 14400 bps / 9600 bps / 4800 bps
- Press the FAX button to return to standby mode.
