Learn how to use the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) to copy, fax, or scan a multiple-page document with your PIXMA MX922 printer.

Solution

Load documents in the automatic feeder

  1. Make sure there are no documents left on the glass surface of the printer.

  2. Open the document tray.

  3. Insert the document in the document tray with the side you want to scan facing up.
    Note You should hear a beep when the document is in position (unless the alarm is set to silent in device user settings).

  4. Adjust the document guides to match the width of the document.

    Note Don't slide the guides too hard against the document. If you do, the document may not feed properly.

  5. Your original document is ready to scan, fax, or copy.
    Note You can scan your document to a USB flash drive, a Windows PC, or a Mac®.
