Learn how to use speed dial to send a fax with your PIXMA MX922 printer / fax.

Solution

Send a fax with speed dial

  1. Turn on the machine.
  2. Press the FAX button to get to the Fax standby screen.
  3. Load documents on the platen glass or in the automatic document feeder (ADF).
  4. Adjust the scan contrast and resolution as necessary.
  5. Press the Coded Dial button to see the screen to select a coded speed dial code or a group dial code.

  6. Use the up / down arrow buttons UPDOWN or the numeric buttons to select a coded speed dial code or a group dial code and press OK.
  7. Press the Color button for color transmission, or the Black button for black and white transmission.
    Note that not all recipients can accept color faxes.

Good to know

  • To cancel a fax transmission, press the Stop button.
  • If documents remain in the ADF after the Stop button is pressed while scanning is in progress, Document in ADF. Select to eject document. is displayed on the LCD. Pressing OK.
  • If the number you dialed is busy, the machine automatically redials by default. Press Stop to cancel redialing.
