Solution

Load originals on the platen glass

  1. Lift the document cover.
  2. Load the original with the side to scan facing down. Do not apply pressure or place anything that weighs 4.4 lb (2.0 kg) or more on the platen glass.Load a document
  3. Close the document cover. 
  4. Proceed to copy, fax, or scan.
