Where can I find firmware updates for the EOS 6D?

Solution

The new EOS 6D Firmware Version 1.1.3 is available for download at the Canon website.  Please click on the link below:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/digital_slr_cameras/eos_6d#DriversAndSoftware

  1. Select your Operating System and OS Version from the drop-down boxes, then click on[Firmware]. 
  2. Click on the [EOS 6D Firmware Version 1.1.3], then click on [I Agree - Begin Download] on the next page. 
  3. When the download is complete, extract the file and you should now have a "6D00113.FIR" file and "update-procedure-pdf" folder.
