Where can I find firmware updates for the EOS 7D?

Solution

The new EOS 7D Firmware Version 2.0.3 is available for download at the Canon website.  Please click on the link below:

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_7d#DriversAndSoftware

  1. Select your Operating System and OS Version from the drop-down boxes, then click on [Firmware]. 
  2. Click on the [EOS 7D Firmware Version 2.0.3], then click on [I Agree - Begin Download] on the next page. 
  3. When the download is complete, extract the file and you should now have a firmware update ( .FIR ) file and "update-procedure-pdf" folder.
