Scanning error "There is no scanner selected. Please select a scanner."

Solution

The following error screen is displayed when the correct scanner is not set in the MF Toolbox.

 

Correct the error by following the steps below.

1. Click on [Settings].

 

2. Click the drop down for "Scanner" and select your model scanner. (The MF4800 series is used in this example.)

 

3. Press [OK].
