Description

Is it possible to save video data to both the built-in memory and a memory card at the same time?

Solution

When you record, you can use dual recording to record an MP4 movie that has the same image as the scene being recorded. The MP4 movie is saved on the memory not currently selected for recording. Because the resulting movie is in MP4 format, it is ideal for transferring to another device or uploading to the Web.
REFERENCE
  • When dual recording is activated, decoration is not available.
  • Dual recording is not available in the following cases.
- When the video quality is set to 60P/50P or 35 Mbps.
- When the shooting mode is set to [Baby] or [Cinema].

The procedure for setting dual recording is explained below.
NOTE
The operational screen display may differ depending on the model you use.

1. Turn on the camcorder.

2. Touch [ ].

3. Drag your finger left/right to bring the [Recording Setup] menu to the center, and then touch the icon to open it.

4. Touch [Dual/Relay Recording].

5. Touch [Dual Recording].

6. Touch [ ].

7. Touch [ ].

This concludes the procedure for setting dual recording.

When the built-in memory becomes full, will the recording be automatically saved to the memory card, or vice versa (relay recording)?
